Why is my compressed PDF still larger than 2MB?
A long document or image-heavy scan may contain more data than fits the limit. A small reduction is not a failed upload: it means the current settings have not met the target. Keep the original, try a smaller required page set, or reduce image quality only if the recipient can still read every required detail.
Does a displayed size of 2.0MB always pass a 2MB limit?
No. Rounded file sizes and the portal's byte limit can differ. Leave some margin below the stated limit and try the recipient's upload check. The size shown in BitePDF is not a guarantee that a particular portal will accept the file.
What should I inspect before downloading?
Compare small text, stamps, signatures, and image details with the original. Check page count and order. If you need selectable text or editable form fields, test those in the exported copy too; a visual preview alone cannot prove they were preserved.
